.jpg) The upcoming flight simulator/air combat game tagged with the moniker of Tom Clancy (Rainbow Six Vegas, Splinter Cell, Ghost Recon, EndWar) has given you more to look forward to. GeoEye has partnered with Ubisoft to provide high-res images taken from it's IKONOS satellite for use as backdrop in the game. What's that mean for you? Authentic, accurate settings of over 16 international location, including Rio de Janeiro, Cape Canaveral, and the Middle East.
"High-resolution satellite imaging is moving from the black world of intelligence to the white world of commerce and Tom Clancy's H.A.W.X will bring that reality to gamers," said Mark Brender, vice president, corporate communications and marketing at GeoEye. "With video game graphics becoming more realistic, the use of high-quality photographic ground textures in H.A.W.X adds true photo-realism to the air combat experience."

The guys and gals over at Atom release a funny short every Thursday and this week they've thrown their lovable protagonist Neil into the world of Zelda with their new video, "Legend of Neil, Episode 2: First Blood." After finding himself lost in The Lost Woods, Neil comes across an Octorock and the Old Man and finds out the real meaning of life—or, at least, the world of Zelda is one mean and cruel place. Who knew Link was such a potty mouth? |
