Good artists copy, great artists steal, and the best artists reboot. Right? Wrong. Every month this year brought more news that Hollywood was going to dip into the vast trove of media created in the past century and come up with a brand spanking new version because there are apparently no new ideas left in the world.

Here are the films and TV shows we either learned were getting rebooted in 2015 or were released as reboots in 2015 — which we definitely didn’t ask for.
