Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson Is The Highest-Paid Actor in the World
Can you smell how much The Rock is making?
To no one’s real surprise, Dwayne Johnson has earned himself the number one spot on Forbes‘ highest-paid actors list, courtesy of his box office blowout of a year.
All his huge blockbuster films earned the professional wrestler-turned-actor a total of $64.5 million dollars. So Johnson has San Andreas as well as next year’s Baywatch, and Fast 8 to thank for making him the top dog in his field.
Acclaimed Hong Kong martial artist Jackie Chan trailed just behind at number two, with $61 million due to the abundance of films released in China. Jason Bourne himself—Matt Damon—ended up number three, making a healthy $55 million.
