There’s a Bold New Twist on the Iconic Adidas Stan Smith
The classic sneakers just got a zippered upgrade courtesy of upscale line Y-3.
Most of what we see from Y-3, the buzzy collaboration from Adidas and Yohji Yamamoto, is so far out that these pared-back Stan Smith kicks comes as a welcome surprise.
It’s an ultra-sleek, all-white take on the sneakerhead staple, but the shoe has been outfitted with a dual-zip tongue to eye-popping effect.
Not sure that zipper does anything, but it looks cool as hell.
The Y-3 Stan Zip, part of its Fall/Winter 2016 lineup, is currently going for around $290 on sites like Aphrodite.
