10 Delicious “Game Of Thrones” Inspired Cocktails

Sunday nights just got better with the return of our favorite TV dragons, royal jerks, and white walkers. Celebrate with these boozy GoT treats.

Fire & Ice

Recipe by LA Mixologist, Joel Black of Black LAB Ventures

Ingredients:

1 1⁄2 parts Basil Hayden’s Bourbon 3⁄4 parts fresh lime juice

1 slice jalapeño

1 part pomegranate juice

1⁄2 part simple syrup

Splash of soda water

Directions:

Muddle lime juice, jalapeño, pomegranate juice, and simple syrup in a mixing tin. Add Basil Hayden’s Bourbon and shake lightly for five seconds. Strain into a Collins glass, add ice, and top with soda water. Garnish with a lime wheel and pomegranate seeds.

Dragon Dance

Ingredients:

2 parts Basil Hayden’s Bourbon

1 Serrano pepper (or jalapeño pepper)

3/4 parts simple syrup

3/4 parts lime juice

5 blackberries

Directions:

Muddle pepper and blackberries in a mixing glass. Add remaining ingredients with ice and shake. Fine strain into a martini glass. Light small orange peel on fire and drop into the glass.

Fire & Blood

Ingredients:

2 ounces Stoli Hot

2 cherry tomatoes, plus extra to garnish

3/4 ounce fresh lemon juice

1/2 ounce simple syrup

Garnish: 1 jalapeñopepper, 1/2 beet juice or red food coloring

Directions:

Muddle cherry tomatoes in a shaker. Add vodka, lemon juice, and simple syrup and shake with ice. Strain into rocks glass over ice. Cut jalapeñopepper in half and place on top of cocktail for a garnish. Drip beet juice or red food coloring down pepper until desired effect is achieved.

Hodor



Ingredients

4 oz. Sobieski Vodka

1 oz. triple sec

1 oz. lemon juice

Lime wheel for garnish

Directions:

Add all ingredients into a shaker with ice and shake. Strain and serve in shot glasses with a lime wheel for garnish. (Serves four)

Iron Throne



Ingredients:

1 1/2 parts SVEDKA Mango Pineapple

1 part tomato juice

1 part grapefruit juice

1/2 part fresh lime juice

1/2 part simple syrup

Directions:

Pour ingredients into a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake and strain over fresh ice into a rocks glass. Garnish with mango cubes.

The King Slayer



Ingredients:

1 1/2 parts SVEDKA Mango Pineapple

1/2 part SVEDKA Vanilla

1/2 part fresh lime juice

1/2 part simple syrup

8-10 mint leaves

1 mint sprig

3-4 dashes of Angostura bitters

Directions:

Place mint leaves, simple syrup, and fresh lime juice in a Collins glass. Add crushed ice and swizzle. Add SVEDKA Mango Pineapple, SVEDKA Vanilla, and crushed ice to 3/4 full and swizzle. Top with crushed ice. Place a layer of bitters on top. Garnish with a straw and mint sprigs.

Mother of Dragons



Ingredients:


1 oz. Lucid Absinthe

1 oz. Sobieski Black Cherry Vodka

2 oz. lemon-lime soda

Raspberry liqueur to taste

Lemon wedge for garnish

Directions:

Fill a tall glass with ice and add Lucid Absinthe and Sobieski Black Cherry Vodka. Add lemon-lime soda and float raspberry liqueur. Garnish with a lemon wedge and serve.

Night’s Watch

Ingredients:

2 parts SVEDKA vodka

2 lime wedges

4 parts ginger beer

Directions:

Squeeze lime wedges into a Collins glass and fill with ice. Pour SVEDKA vodka and top with cold ginger beer. Garnish with lime wedges.

The Red Wedding

Ingredients:

2  oz Bulleit Rye

1/2 oz CarpanoAntica

1/4 oz Cherry Heering

3 dashes of Angostura bitters

Directions:

Shake ingredients with ice and serve up in a martini glass.

White Walker Flip

Created by James Menite, head bartender at Crown

Ingredients:

1 oz. The Glenrothes Select Reserve Single Malt Whisky

1 oz. The King’s Ginger liqueur

¼ oz. green chartreuse

3/4 oz. sweetened apple cider

2 dashes baked apple bitters

1 whole egg

Garnish: The King’s Ginger liqueur-infused apple wheels

Glassware: Chilled Royal Coupette

Directions:

Dry shake whole egg until emulsified. Then add Kold Draft ice and all ingredients except the bitters and shake vigorously until cold. Strain into chilled Royal Coupette and garnish with apple wheels.
