You Can Finally Pit Alien vs. Predator in ‘Mortal Kombat X’
Oh, and Leatherface is in there, too.
Ever wanted to recreate the events of Alien vs. Predator in a video game without having to resort to that lame 2010 reboot? The ’99 version is where it’s at, after all. Well, now you can with the Mortal Kombat X: Kombat Pack 2, a DLC package that’s coming out this year for the excellent tenth entry of Mortal Kombat.
Kombat Pack 2 comes packed with some pretty damn awesome characters, including the Xenomorph of Alien fame, complete with a chestburster Fatality, as well as Leatherface of the Texas Chainsaw Massacre films. There’s also Bo’ Rai Cho and Triborg, both of which look like a couple of dudes you don’t wanna mess with.
Players who plunk down the cash for this downloadable content package will also get the Apocalypse Pack. That’s full of its own surprises, including character skins for Mortal Kombat X combatants Takeda, D’Vorah, and Erron Black. You also get the four-armed Shokan warrior Goro as a playable character as well as some extras, such as skins for Liu Kang, Kung Lao, and Johnny Cage.
For now, feast your eyes on the trailer below, which brutally showcases the Xenomorph’s tail impaling its enemy.
