Brad Pitt and Marion Cotillard Are a Dangerous Duo in New WWII Spy Thriller ‘Allied’

Watch the pair play WWII assassins in this action-packed new trailer.

Brad Pitt has done two films set during World War II: Fury (2014) and Inglourious Basterds (2009). His latest, Allied, could be his most pulse-pounding yet.

In the new film Pitt joins forces with French Academy Award winner Marion Cotillard for a perilous mission to take down a top-ranking Nazi official—inevitably, the pair fall in love along the way.

Pitt is obviously well-suited to play an American intelligence officer, but forgive us for being more eager to see Cotillard as a lethal French Resistance fighter. Think Angelina Jolie’s femme fatale in Mr. & Mrs. Smith, except in period costume and with a sexy French accent.

Directed by Robert Zemeckis (Back to the Future, Forrest Gump), Allied drops into theaters on November 23.
