Here’s some news that should put a smile on your face. Amanda Bynes, the comedic actress who stole our teenage hearts first on All That and then on The Amanda Show just might be returning to the network that first made her a star.
Yes, according to the New York Post, TV insiders are trying to get the former Maxim cover girl—who suffered a pretty rough public meltdown in 2012—to go back to Nickelodeon. Per the Post:
A source said producers have been “trying to reach” Bynes — who recently completed a second year at the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising in Orange County — to come up with an idea for a new show with her. We’re told the hope is that they could find a way to “work with her again in a positive and healthy way. She has a tremendous amount of talent.”
This would be great news, because Amanda isn’t only a legit talent—just check her out in her more adult flicks like Easy A—but she’s also one of the hottest girl-next-door actresses out there. (Here’s some proof.)
According to the Post, Amanda recently completed a second year at the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising in Orange County, CA. While we’re happy she seems to have her head back on straight, we’d much prefer to see her bring back Judge Trudy.
Good luck, Amanda!
