Poor Ariana Grande has the strangest career luck we’ve ever seen. After spending 2015 batting back a ridiculous controversy revolving around alleged anti-American donut licking (if you just audibly gasped “are you fucking kidding me” and rolled your eyes, no, I’m sorry, and yes I am ashamed as well), the pint-sized singer was primed and ready for action to pull double-duty as host and musical guest on Saturday Night Live.
Unfortunately, Grande’s time in the spotlight went to shit when she, well, dropped “shit” in the middle of a musical number in the middle of Saturday’s show. While our friends at Uproxx point out that this was probably staged as part of her promise of more ‘adult’ scandals in 2016 (ugh), some cast members seem pretty amused:
Did Ariana Grande just say "Oh shit" on SNL? Now I'm jealous.#SNL #ArianaOnSNL #GrandeBomb

Congratulations, Grande, on your strategic cursing, and thank God that the Supreme Court says networks can’t get sued for that crap anymore.
