BACARDI’s Hand Shaken Daiquiri

Let’s get back to the basics with this original manly form of the daiquiri.

What are some things manly guys do?

They catch giant fish, like Ernest Hemingway did…

They bang out some prolific thoughts, like Ernest Hemingway did…

They pose stoically for photos, as so:

And they drink daiquiris, just like (you guessed it) Hemingway did. That’s right, the Daiquiri was invented by Jennings Stockton Cox, a mining engineer in Santiago, Cuba. In fact, the Daiqiuri was named after the copper-ore mines. For all we know, Hemingway’s book Across the River and Into the Trees (written in Cuba) could have been inspired under the influence of the delicious Daiqiuri.
