Bill Murray Is Xavier Basketball’s Most Legendary Fan

And we've got the video to prove it.

If you go by Bill Murray’s birth certificate, he’s 65. If you go by his shrunken apple-looking face, he’s 105. But if you go by his behavior, the dude’s like 22.

The latest piece of evidence came at Madison Square Garden Thursday, when Murray channeled his inner frat boy and cheered on the Xavier Musketeers in the Big East Tournament.

There is, of course, a back story here. Murray’s son Luke is an assistant coach at Xavier. The 30-year-old joined the Musketeers staff this past off-season after two years at Rhode Island, where his Rams also basked in the glory of his famous dad.

If you missed Murray in the stands Thursday, worry not! With Xavier playing again Friday night, it’s bound to be Groundhog Day at the Garden.
