The new season of Better Call Saul is over a month away but we’ve already got some tantalizing clues as to what Jimmy McGill is up to in his journey toward the events in Breaking Bad. We know that major bad guy Gus Fring will make his Saul debut, and recently Bob Odenkirk and Aaron Paul dropped hints there may be other surprises.

OK, so the hint from Odenkirk is just him sort of confirming the inevitable: Occasionally hapless striver Jimmy will finally begin morphing into flashy, conniving Saul Goodman for real. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the actor said during an event in Berlin that fans will “for the first time… get to see Saul Goodman.”

But it won’t be the Saul of Breaking Bad fame yet. “You’ll get to see Saul Goodman,” Odenkirk said, but the “character will appear but in a slightly different form than you’ve seen it.”

Odenkirk also reportedly made it clear that Gus Fring has an extended storyline, not just a cameo.

Aaron Paul’s hint was very vague, but possibly telling. He simply posted a blurry shot of him on Instagram—apparently in character as Jesse Pinkman—with nothing but a crystal ball emoji as the caption. Whatever Paul’s intent, fan comments on the photo made it clear Breaking Bad and Saul diehards took it as a hint that Pinkman will be back, bitch.

Better Call Saul premieres on AMC on April 10th.
