We know you were worried that Netflix’s longtime radio silence on the return of Bojack Horseman meant it might not be coming back anytime soon (because if you’re a fan of Bojack Horseman, you’re probably a neurotic, anxious person) but fret no more: Your favorite depressed, alcoholic former TV star who is also a talking horse (played to perfection by Will Arnett) will be returning for Season 3 on July 22.
The long-awaited announcement comes with a short teaser that’s a kind of meta-commentary on critics: Those who love the show, and those fictional critics who (presumably) weren’t fans of Bojack Horseman’s comeback role in the “Secretariat” biopic, who he advises to “eat a flat butt.”
If you are not already watching this truly brilliant series, there’s still time to catch up on the first two seasons before the Season 3 premiere. Git!
