Bruce Springsteen’s Autobiography Is Finally Coming Out This Fall

Tramps like us, baby we were born to read.

Like hundreds of pages of holy scrolls brought down from the mountain tops of New Jersey, Bruce Springsteen’s autobiography, Born To Run, will enlighten and show us the way come September 27, 2016.

Written entirely himself over the past seven years because Bruce is a champion of life and doesn’t need a co-writer, the book will detail his formative years in Freehold, New Jersey, his early band years, and his ultimate rise to fame that’s landed him The Boss status he maintains to this day.

“Writing about yourself is a funny business,” Springsteen writes in his book. “But in a project like this, the writer has made one promise, to show the reader his mind. In these pages, I’ve tried to do this.”

Reading is FUNdamental and we’ll definitely be tearing through this thing — but we also can’t wait for the audio version, which, if read by Bruce (god willing) will be intensely amazing, like getting sage advice from the guy who does your oil changes who always somehow seems to know all the secrets of life. It’ll be just like that.
