Exclusive: Bryce Harper Has Designed a Limited Edition Washington Nationals Cap

The slugger is now a hat designer.

At only 23 years old, Bryce Harper has already accomplished so much in Major League Baseball. Just last week, he hit his 100th career home run. Off the diamond, dude is making things happen too. Earlier this month, he debuted Under Armor’s first signature baseball cleat and now New Era is trotting out a limited edition Washington Nationals hat that the stud outfielder designed himself.

New Era is only producing 72 of these hats, which is why they’ll run you $79.99. If you’re into them, don’t expect to show up at Lids and get one either. Starting this Saturday, fans will be able to buy them on pre-sale at DC hat shop Major. The lucky few will get their hands on the limited-edition hats at Nationals Park on April 28, the four-year anniversary of Harper’s debut with the Nats.

Those who aren’t among the first 72 in line will still be able to get a little Harper on their heads. New Era is releasing a cheaper—relatively speaking—snapback version of the hat that will be available at the New Era Team Store at Nationals Park on the 28th. It will cost $36.99.

Nats fans will want to take special note of the inscription on the inside of the hat, which reads “DC or Nothing.” They sure hope he feels that way when it comes time to sign a new deal.
