We finally found out where is Carmen Sandiego is, and it’s on Netflix.

The initial series will be an order of 20 episodes, each with a 22-minute run time, and will delve into Carmen’s elusive past, providing audiences with juicy details that give insight into how Carmen became an international criminal.

Educational resource publisher Houghton Mifflin Harcourt and DHX Media are bringing the series to the streaming service with The Batman producer Duane Capizzi as showrunner. It’s expected to launch in 2019.

The character originated in a series of educational video games back in the ’80s, which tested young sleuths’ geography skills.

As for this reboot, might we suggest enlisting the talents of Rockapella—who provided the iconic theme to the beloved ’90s game show Where In The World Is Carmen Sandiego?—to sing along once again? They’ve already got their awesome rendition locked and loaded.
