College: Auburn at Alabama

The problem with writing about the most exciting college football matchups each week, means I always seem to be writing about the same teams. But, honestly, who outside of the rust belt is watching Toledo take on Central Michigan? So here we are, another week, another huge SEC matchup with BCS implications.
Who’s Going To Win: I’ve already picked against Auburn once (or maybe twice) but this time I mean it. These two teams hate each other, and the Tide have nothing to play for except the sheer joy of knocking off their bitter rivals. Sure, Auburn is playing to stay alive in the national title race, but a team with this shoddy of a defense can’t go undefeated in the SEC. The third pick against is the charm, right?
Pro: Philadelphia at Chicago

This matchup poses two big questions. #1: Are the Bears for real? #2 Is Michael Vick Superman? The answer to #1 is, oddly, yes. After a lucky win in week one and a high profile beatdown by the Giants on Sunday night the Bears were written off as an overachieving team waiting to collapse. But in the last month their offensive line has gelled and offensive coordinator Mike Martz has decided to call a running play once in a while to keep defenses honest. If they keep on this track, they will be a team no one wants to play come January. The answer to #2: The Giants exposed Vick’s weakness when he’s moved right, but yes, he is Superman. (And murdering dogs is his kryptonite.)
Upset Alert: The Bears look like a team that’s peaking at the right time. They have a top-five defense and an offense that can explode at any time. Julius Peppers should help contain Vick and Cutler will limit his red zone interceptions to two. Bears 24, Eagles 20
