The Daily Heat Index: Batman and Superman Duke It Out in New ‘Dawn of Justice’ Footage

Here’s a daily dose of what’s heating up the internet:

The Battle Begins
Even a new suit of armor might not be enough to stop The Man of Steel. In a post-Oscars clip, we finally have some footage of the central ‘versus’ part of Batman v, Superman: Dawn of Justice, and there’s no holding back from either superhero. After Superman launches Batman through a building and into the legendary ‘Bat Signal,’ the Dark Knight plays it cool with a smoke bomb before taking aim with a gun (loaded with what we hope are kryptonite bullets). Things cut to black after Superman catches it, but this little taste of what’s to come only confirms that we have a real big blowout on the way. The fight continues when Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice hits theaters on March 25th.

The Many Faces of Chrissy Teigen
Just over a year ago, Chrissy Teigen graced us with a GIF heard ’round the world during her husband’s speech at the 2015 Golden Globes. If you live under a rock, here’s what you missed:

Well, the colorful LSB commentator and Maxim favorite has struck again, and this year, it’s all we needed to keep us awake during the 4-hour 2016 Oscars telecast. Following an extremely painful appearance from Clueless star Stacey Dash, the camera captured Chrissy’s reaction, and it was basically all of us.

We demand that the newly crowned cook book author attend every Award Show, Gala, and Westminster Dog Show for now on, if only to provide us with an abundance of reusable GIFs for life.

‘Leap Day William’ is Here
Did you not grow up with Leap Day William? It’s February 29th, and 30 Rock wants to remind you about the very fictional character who only comes out once every four years to trade children’s tears for candy. Yep, you heard that right: The mustached man in blue and gold debuted during the 6th season of the NBC show, and while Tina Fey wasn’t convinced, we have no problem making an excuse to celebrate the faux holiday — especially if it means leaving work early.
