The Movies of Summer
Summer is slowly creeping up on us, and with the sun comes blockbuster season. While 2016 has turned into the year of superheroes, with plenty of hype behind Captain America: Civil War, X-Men: Apocalypse, and Suicide Squad, it’s important to remember we’re about to bare witness to an all-female Ghostbusters cast, a live-action take on Tarzan, and a Will Smith-less Independence Day sequel. To get you hyped up, YouTuber AMONymous has mashed up all the upcoming blockbusters in an epic montage that’ll get you countdown clock started. Summer 2016, we’re ready for you..

Fallon v. The Globetrotters
After a fan questioned Jimmy Fallon‘s abilities on the basketball court, the Tonight Show and The Roots decided to face-off against legendary Harlem Globetrotters in a game where the points most definitely did not matter. As expected, the Globetrotters dunked, smashed, and made a complete mockery of Fallon and the gang, coming out victorious in a score of 90-2. Clearly, Fallon should stick to comedy.
The Worst Invitation Ever
Logan Marshall-Green and GoT‘s Michiel Huisman make for really awkward dinner guests in The Invitation, out on VOD and limited release April 8th. The creepy, dim lit thriller premiered earlier this year at SXSW where it was met with positive reviews as a ‘dinner party from Hell.’ The film follows Marshall-Green as he returns to the former home of his ex-wife and her new husband (Huisman), only to find him and the other guests caught in the trap of their dinner hosts. Let’s hope they at least make it to dessert.
