Filming on two of the most anticipated Marvel movies—Deadpool 2 and X-Men: Dark Phoenix—wrapped on Sunday.
Ryan Reynolds made the announcement on Instagram, where he expressed gratitude to cast and crew and said he would continue “shooting the film in [his] underwear from Josh Brolin‘s well appointed living room.”
We’re into it.
Filming on Deadpool 2 has been fraught… they say the least. On the Vancouver set, a stuntwoman was killed while filming a pivot motorcycle chase.
Reynolds also left a statement on Instagram following her death.
Meanwhile, X-Men director Simon Kinberg announced filming was complete with a far pithier Instagram caption: “That’s a wrap.”
Filming looked like a good time. Kinberg also shared some behind-the-scenes antics, which involved Jennifer Lawrence, Sophie Turner, Michael Fassbender and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.
Deadpool 2 hits theaters on June 1, 2018 while X-Men: Dark Phoenix will be released a bit later… on Nov. 2, 2018.
