A Totally Outrageous ‘Deadpool 2’ Post-Credits Scene Was Cut for Being Too Edgy
Here’s what would have happened.
Don’t get out of your seat as the credits start rolling at the end of Deadpool 2; word is there are four post-credit sequences worth sticking around for.
Sadly, there was a fifth one that sounds epic, but it was cut from the final version after making viewers at test screenings uneasy. Lame!
It involved Deadpool traveling back in time to kill baby Hitler. Here’s how it goes, according to Jeremy Conrad of MCU Cosmic:
“Deadpool in a newborn ward. Standing next to a crib with a name tag that says ‘A Hilter’. He goes back and forth on doing it. A baby cries and he says, ‘Shut up Ira, you’ll thank me someday!’. Finally he goes for it, then baby Hitler’s POV as Dreadpool strangles him.”
Another post-credits scene, which has a Wolverine cameo, appears to have made the cut and has since leaked online.

Nonetheless, filmmakers didn’t pull any punches from the rest of the movie. It’s already being described as “funnier” and “smarter” than the first.
And they won’t for the upcoming X-Force movie either. Deadpool 2 screenwriter Rhett Reese recently said it would be raunchier than any X-Men movie.
“I think the fun part of X-Force is they’re much more morally flexible than the X-Men,” Reese said.
“They can get their hands dirty a little bit. There’s more grey area. It’ll be raunchier, it’ll be rated R, I’m sure. We’ll get to see an ensemble movie that’s pushed, hopefully, as far as the Deadpool individual movie was pushed.”
