Deep-Dish Pizza Is Not Real Pizza, Rules Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia

This just might be the most important ruling of our lives.

Sure, rulings about Constitutional rights as they relate to the American citizenry are kinda important, but how often do such decisions relate to our stomachs? Not nearly enough, we say, which is why we were very happy to see that Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia has spoken out about the greatest food of all time. Yes, the conservative stalwart recently announced that, while he enjoys Chicago-style deep-dish pizza, it “shouldn’t be considered pizza.” It is important to note that, while Scalia is Italian-American – which perhaps gives his opinion some extra weight – he also grew up in Queens, New York…which might make him just a wee bit biased. Regardless of what side of the pizza aisle you stand, though, it’s nice to see someone in government take a real stand on something for once (even if it’s on something topped with melted mozzarella.)
