This Dude Was Seated Next to His Doppelgänger on a Flight
Nope, this isn’t an episode of The Twilight Zone.
Today’s a big day for lookalikes. First, we brought you the Swedish bartender who looks exactly like a Titanic-era Leonard DiCaprio (be still my beating vagina). Then there’s this dude who boarded a Ryanair flight from London to Galway only to realize he was randomly seated next to his exact doppelgänger. They did not fight to death, as was expected, and chose instead to take a selfie.
Twitter user Lee Beattie tweeted a photo of Neil Thomas Douglas, who’s a friend of her husband’s, seated next to his mirror image. I’m personally delighted by how delighted everyone else on the flight is, especially that one guy pointing at the camera.

“The pair were later to encounter a further coincidence when they checked into the same hotel in Galway,” the BBC reported. “‘Later that night, I went to the pub and again, there was my twin. Total weirdness. We had a laugh and a pint,'” Douglas added.
The photo immediately went viral, with several other bearded gingers tweeting at Beattie claiming to be yet another doppelgänger. What fun we all have together on the world wide web. What fun indeed.
