The Rock sure knows how to make viral news on his Instagram account.

The outspoken superstar–who recently shared with his 280 million followers that he gave a fan a custom Ford pickup truck–is now using his massive platform to declare that his latest movie, Red Notice, is the biggest film in Netflix history.

The streamer’s big-budget action/comedy stars Johnson as an Interpol agent who teams with renowned art thief (Ryan Reynolds) to catch a gorgeous criminal (Gal Gadot). It began streaming on November 12.

Sharing a snippet from the movie on Instagram on Saturday, Johnson celebrated the flick’s blockbuster success.

The actor wrote: “Here’s my slick talkin’ frenemy Ryan Reynolds and I, giving you a taste of why Red Notice has officially become THE BIGGEST MOVIE IN THE HISTORY OF NETFLIX!!!”

He continued that the film has “shattered all records” in the two weeks since its release, “with many weeks to go”.

But since Netflix does not release viewership data for its streaming content, it’s unclear how many people have actually watched Red Notice in its entirety.

The Rock’s bold viewership claim comes just days after Hellbound dethroned Squid Game as Netflix’s most-watched show.

Earlier this month, Reynolds claimed that Red Notice broke Netflix’s record for most views on the day of release, in a Twitter post that read: “WOW #RedNotice is @Netflix biggest ever opening day for a film. Congrats to this whole team!”

But despite Red Notice dethroning the Sandra Bullock movie Bird Box as Netflix’s most watched film yet, it has been largely panned by critics. It holds a 35% critical rating on Rotten Tomatoes along with a far rosier 92% audience score.
