Watch Spidey Swing Back Into Action In Killer New Trailer For ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’
Catch cameos by Robert Downey Jr., Michael Keaton and the beautiful Zendaya…
Webslinger fans rejoice! We finally got a good look at Tom Holland’s mutant spider-powered superhero on Thursday’s Jimmy Kimmel Live!. The first full trailer for Spider-Man: Homecoming gave us a very familiar Marvel feel and a little bit of Robert Downey Jr.’s Iron Man, to boot.
In the slightly quirky new clip we get Holland’s Peter Parker in high school, checking out girls while a character played by Zendaya disapproves. For whatever it’s worth, youthful as all recent Spider-Man stars have been, Holland is the most believable yet when it comes to looking like a high school student.
The trailer also includes all the requisite web-aided swinging through the city and super-powered ass-kicking, and a too-brief glimpse of Michael Keaton as the film’s villain Adrian Toomes, aka Vulture.
Then there’s Downey as Tony Stark, in fine sarcastic form.
This latest reboot of the Spider-Man franchise swings into theaters on July 7, 2017.
