Friends of Maxim Win Big at the Golden Globes

Congrats to Andy Samberg, Jon Voight, Matthew McConaughey, and others.

It was an affair to remember at last night’s 71st annual Golden Globe Awards in Beverly Hills, with the Hollywood Foreign Press awarding top honors to 12 Years A Slave, American Hustle, Breaking Bad, and more.

Individual winners included recent Maxim interviewees Andy Samberg – who won the award for Best Actor in a TV Comedy Series for Brooklyn Nine-Nine, which also won for Best TV Comedy Series; Jon Voight, for Best Supporting Actor in a TV Drama for Ray Donovan; and Matthew McConaughey, who scored the trophy for Best Actor in a Motion Picture – Drama, for Dallas Buyer’s Club.

Former Maxim models also appeared as presenters, most notably, the beautiful Olivia Wilde, Amber Heard, Mila Kunis, Kate Beckinsale, and let’s not forget Colin Farrell.

Congrats to all the winners (and nominees…we were totally pulling for Aaron Paul, bitches!). And now that the Globes are over, it’s time to gear up for Oscar nominations, to be announced on Thursday, January 16.
