The final season of Games of Thrones will be the biggest and most-action packed yet, HBO has officially confirmed.
According to HBO’s updated programming schedule, the shortest of GoT’s last episodes will be Season 8’s 54-minute premiere on April 14.
The third episode will be the longest with an estimated runtime of one hour and 22 minutes, while the fifth episode and the finale will both clock in at one hour and 20 minutes.
As Entertainment Weekly notes, the average episode length is 72 minutes, which is longer than that of any other season in the series.
