The Girls of ‘Friday Night Lights’

Season Four of NBC’s hit pigskin drama premieres tonight, which means another 13 episodes of wishing our high school had been populated with these Dillon County damsels.

Dillon High School isn’t your typical, run-of-the-mill secondary school, which is probably why it’s the subject of NBC’s drama Friday Night Lights about a small, often-dysfunctional Texas town and their love of the local football team, the Dillon Panthers.

But, this season, the town has been ripped apart at the seams, almost literally, as the local school board has redrawn the district and re-opened the dilapidated East Dillon High School on the other side of town. Further augmenting the tension, Coach Eric Taylor must leave the Panthers and coach the upstart (read: nonexistent) East Dillon Lions football team. Bad thing for Coach Taylor, good thing for loyal viewers who will now be subjected to viewing not one, but two high school class rosters full of ridiculously hot female cast members. Needless to say, we’re ready for some Friday night football!
