In 2011, Jay Baruchel and Seann William Scott quietly released a dumb hockey movie that has, in five short years, become a classic.
Even though it looks like a silly comedy, Goon actually deserves that status. Not only is it full of some killer hockey fights, but it’s both hilarious and poignant, without getting sappy.
It appears as if the sequel, Goon: Last of the Enforcers, will live up to the standard set by the original. If not, well, Elisha Cuthbert is in it and we’ve been a fan of hers for a very long time.
