Take-Two Interactive Software, the publisher of Grand Theft Auto V, blew way past Wall Street expectations this week, announcing revenues skyrocketing by 24 percent and blowing away earnings expectations. GTA V is the sole driving force behind the prolific earnings, as the game quickly became one of the best-selling of all time, moving 45 million copies so far this year. Next year looks bright for Take-Two and its Rockstar Games division, as GTA V is set to be released on PC in late March.
In addition, the publisher is looking forward to the debut of a new game, called Evolve, a multi-player shooting game where players all work together to kill a monster (also controlled by a player). Sounds awesome. Check out the trailer below and tell your accountant all about it.
