The Rumors Are True, Guns N’ Roses Are Getting Back Together
Welcome back to the jungle.
Over the past few days there’s been some chatter on the internet about the possibility of classic metal band, Guns N’ Roses reuniting. It seemed too good to be true, and you could almost feel the collective hive mind holding their breath for confirmation, and now that confirmation has come, in the form of Mötley Crüe bassist Nikki Sixx, who spilled the beans on his personal Twitter yesterday.
@DruryAlliana @NikkiSixx do you think guns n roses should do a reunion tour? #asksixx THEY ARE. EVERYBODY KNOWS.

Who knows how reputable of a source Sixx is, but pushing aside further skepticism in favor of hoping for the best, other clues are adding up to this being a real thing. GnR guitarist Slash made public declarations of his mending of ties with Axl Rose over the summer, whom he’d not spoken with for decades prior, and friends and family members of the band are all taking to social media to be like, duh, it’s happening. There’s still an element of “wait and see” to this though, and Rolling Stone continues to give the reunion about a 50/50 chance. Fingers crossed that Sixx knows what he’s talking about!
