HBO Requiring Extras to Agree to “Genital-to-Genital” Contact Makes Us Way More Excited for Westworld
The details from these consent forms make the show sound wild.
HBO is lauded for producing prestige dramas and critically acclaimed comedies. It’s also lauded for showing all the bits that don’t fly on network TV. Game of Boobs, anyone?
But the consent forms for Westworldindicate that the J.J. Abrams-produced series goes above and beyond typical depictions of sex on HBO.
Deadline is reporting that extras working on the showwere required to sign consent forms in which they agreed to participate in “graphic sexual situations.” More specifically, “genital-to-genital touching” and posing “on all fours while others who are fully nude ride on your back.”
Hoo boy. Both great visuals right there.
Westworld, based on the 1973 movie of the same name, stars Anthony Hopkins, Ed Harris, James Marsden, and Evan Rachel Wood. It bills itself as “a dark odyssey about the dawn of artificial consciousness and the future of sin.”
It’s also about fucking, apparently.
