Watch Iron Man and Captain Marvel Take On Thanos in New ‘Avengers: Endgame’ Trailer
“You could not live with your own failure. Where did that bring you? Back to me.”
Avengers: Endgame will be here before you know it, and here’s more bait to lure you into theaters: an epic new trailer and the trailer’s message—tickets are on sale now.
The other good thing in this preview is that Marvel has thrown us a bone. We learn more about the story than we do from previous clips. They’re going back to Thanos (a CGI’d but still thoroughly menacing Josh Brolin), and he’s just fine with that.
As Thanos says in the trailer, “You could not live with your own failure. Where did that bring you? Back to me.”
Ouch.
And who’s bringing the battle to his door? After the Thanos snap dissolved half the living universe there are still some heroes left, and they include Chris Hemsworth’s Thor, Robert Downey Jr. as Tony “Iron Man” Stark, Chris Evans as Captain America, and Brie Larson’s Captain Marvel.
The synopsis, to narrow things down:
Adrift in space with no food or water, Tony Stark sends a message to Pepper Potts as his oxygen supply starts to dwindle. Meanwhile, the remaining Avengers—Thor, Black Widow, Captain America and Bruce Banner—must figure out a way to bring back their vanquished allies for an epic showdown with Thanos—the evil demigod who decimated the planet and the universe.
Look, we know what the conclusion to all this has to be, sure. But it seems given that not everyone will make it out alive. Save those who have future movies to do featuring their characters.
Get those tickets now for when Avengers: Endgame hits theaters April 25.
