A Saturday Night Live social media grunt performed a fine public service last week by posting a sketch from the show’s glory days on Facebook. It shows John Belushi, an overweight drug addict, winning the Olympic gold medal in decathlon. An amazing accomplishment.

The commercial is actually a send up of athlete endorsements and of Belushi’s own persona as a self destructive slob. But in the end, it ends up a pretty effective advertisement for little chocolate donuts. Sure, they won’t turn you into a world class athlete, but they might make you one of the funniest people in the world. That’s actually better, anyway.
