John Turturro’s gross Jesus Quintana is about to take center stage for his very own (albeit, unauthorized) The Big Lebowski spinoff.

Birth.Movies.Death has reported The Night Of star is a few weeks into production of Going Places, a New York-set feature. Turturro is directing and performing a script he wrote that’s drew inspiration from a 1974 french comedy, Les Valseuses

The plot, which apparently hasn’t been approved by Big Lebowski directors the Coen Brothers, has Turturro reprising his character of The Jesus. The sex offender is joined by petty criminal Petey (Bobby Cannavale) as they attempt to give a homely woman (Audrey Tautou) her very first orgasm. Susan Sarandon is also said to be involved.

No studio has been attached to the project, and full details regarding Going Places are otherwise scarce, so we’re just going to put our faith in Turturro’s obvious genius. Besides, everyone does like a good spinoff… or is it a remake? Maybe a reboot?

Fuck it, dude. Let’s go bowling.
