Killer Mike Is Hosting A Cannabis Travel Series Just In Time For 4/20

The weed-loving Run the Jewels rapper is hitting the road to explore America’s cannabis culture.

Killer Mike is known for his work in acclaimed hip-hop duo Run The Jewels and his fiery political activism, but he’s also an outspoken proponent of cannabis legalization. So it’s fitting that he’s now hosting a weed-themed travel show, Tumbleweeds: Rolling Through America With Killer Mike.

The Vice TV series was produced with online cannabis emporium Weedmaps and follows the Atlanta-based rapper as he traverses the nation in search of intersections between cannabis and culture. (Watch the trailer above).

Here’s an official synopsis:

Kicking off on 4/20, the four-part series will follow rapper and activist Killer Mike as he explores how cannabis and culture intersect in four cities across the country (Las Vegas, San Francisco, New York City and Chicago).

From comedy shows to dispensary visits, he will be joined by local personalities to have conversations around the existing perceptions of cannabis, ways to further normalize the industry and showcase what the plant has done and will continue to do for communities around the U.S.

The series is aimed at educating viewers “so that they can support a more equitable and open legal cannabis economy, especially as more markets are legalizing the plant.”

Mike’s guests will include comedians Jocelyn Chia, and Napoleon Emil, hip-hop pioneer Fab 5 Freddy, and cannabis advocate Cherissa Jackson, among others.

Tumbleweeds: Rolling Through America With Killer Mike premieres on 4/20 at 10 p.m. local time on VICE TV, vicetv.com, and the VICE TV app.
