Kim Kardashian is transforming the humble jockstrap into a sexy, high-fashion accessory. The 41-year-old reality TV star and billionaire makeup/lingerie mogul bared her booty in front of the American flag for the new September issue of Interview magazine.

“I loved it,” she told Interview of her choice in repurposing of men’s athletic undergarment, per the New York Post. “The team was like, ‘No jock strap.’ And I’m like, ‘Come on. This is what I do.’ I do best when I’m ignoring them and doing what I want. So, I’m glad we did it.”

Other pics and behind-the-scenes clips show the SKIMS shapewear founder in other sultry looks—a “Made in the USA” crop top with velvet jogging paints (also pulled down); an “Interview” t-shirt sans bottoms; a red Norma Kamali bodysuit; and an American flag thong with a black leather jacket by Bottega Veneta.

But all of the Interview cover shoot content shows Kardashian’s striking bleached blonde hair and matching eyebrows.

“I do think blondes have more fun,” she told Interview, which was famously founded by Andy Warhol in 1969. “I just feel different.”

The cover shoot exudes patriotic vibes, which in a way reflects Kardashian’s interest in the American legal system. After three failed attempts, she passed the “baby bar” law exam earlier this year, which is equivalent to completing one year of law school, according to the State Bar of California. She’s currently studying to pass the California Bar Exam, which would officially maker he lawyer, per USA Today.

Kardashian also helped prevent the execution of Julius Jones, who was convicted of murder in 1999 and spent 20 years on death row before his execution was called off, Elle reports.

“I’m studying civil procedure and criminal procedure right now, so just understanding the process of how Roe v. Wade got overturned—it’s fascinating and scary,” Kardashian said of the landmark Supreme Court decision declaring there is no constitutional right to abortion.

“If a court can decide what a woman does with her body, then it also puts having children through surrogacy, and things that I have been through, in jeopardy. I always believed people should live their lives exactly how they want to, so it’s really scary to see all of this happening.”

Meanwhile, the Wall Street Journal reports that Kardashian is looking to bolster her bank account even more by launching a new private equity firm with a former partner at the Carlyle Group that’s focused on investing in and building consumer and media businesses.

Kardashian is teaming up with Jay Sammons, who ran consumer investing at Carlyle, to launch SKKY Partners, a new brand that will make investments in sectors including consumer products, hospitality, luxury, digital commerce and media as well as consumer-media and entertainment businesses.
