Leah Remini Claps Back at Angry ‘Kevin Can Wait’ Fans Who Accuse Her of Killing Off the Show’s Previous Wife
Do NOT mess with Leah.
Have you been following the drama surrounding Kevin James’ solidly mediocre CBS sitcom Kevin Can Wait? Here’s a quick rundown: At the end of last season, we learned that actress Erinn Hayes—who was doing a fine job playing the big man’s wife Donna—was getting fired from the show.
To add insult to injury, James’ former King of Queens costar Leah Remini was stepping in as the new female lead. How that would happen was anyone’s guess…
Well, earlier this week with the show’s season 2 premiere, we all got a harsh lesson in killing off your TV wife. Check it out:

Awkward!
Well, now things are getting even uglier. Fans of the show—and of Erinn Hayes—have taken to the Twittersphere to accuse Remini of helping dispose of the actress. And, as you likely know from her role as an outspoken critic of Scientology, Remini is not one to hold back on her feelings.
Just check out her responses to the critical tweets.
How do you really feel? I feel like you are sugar coating it

I don't know honey. I don't write or produce the show. But it's a good idea to answer that in the future

Remini also spoke up for Hayes when addressing fans who supported her joining the show:
She is lovely and funny. And I was looking forward to working with her again. She is on another show on amazon. So blessings to us all

Lol… no I didn't kill her. She is alive and well and doing another show
— Leah Remini (@LeahRemini) September 26, 2017
Yes. It's sad. But the good news is she is so talented and is already on a new show.
