Mark Hunt Wants Brock Lesnar’s Entire $2.5 Million UFC Purse After Failed Drug Test

The Super Samoan is super pissed about Lesnar's doping violations.

Heavyweight Mark Hunt was pissed when the UFC announced Brock Lesnar’s doping violation, but he was hardly surprised.

He was complaining that the WWE superstar was “juiced to the gills” weeks ahead of their fight. Now that his suspicions have been confirmed though, Hunt has an idea for righting the wrong—He’d like to receive Lesnar’s entire purse.

“I saw Brock made millions for this fight, more than anyone ever,” he told MarkHunt.tv. “I wanna know what they are gonna do to Brock now. When you don’t make weight they give twenty percent of your purse to the other fighter. If you get caught cheating you should lose all of it.”

After initially saying that he deserved half of Lesnar’s money, Hunt went on Twitter and said he’d changed his mind. He now wants all of the $2.5 million that Lesnar made for the win (that doesn’t include Lesnar’s pay-per-view points).

“I’ve told Dana that I want a release from the UFC if they don’t sort this out,” Hunt added.

As Hunt waits for the UFC to sort this out, he’s getting some measure of revenge by mocking Lesnar on social media.

Lesnar, meanwhile, hasn’t made much of a denial. “We’ll get to the bottom of this,” is all he told the AP, the only public remarks he’s made since the UFC’s announcement of the positive test of Friday. He also provided the AP with three letters from the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency that said Lesnar had passed drugs tests administered prior to one he failed.

The 39-year-old, whose last fight in the UFC before UFC 200 was in 2011, was asked about possible doping in the lead up to the fight with Hunt. His response? “I’m a white boy and I’m jacked — deal with it.”

Now we know why.
