Lulu and Lala, the identical twins and dynamic DJ duo who hosted the red carpet at the 2020 Maxim Big Game Experience, have been heating up the music and entertainment industry for more than a decade.
The talented twins are based in New York City, where they host iHeartRadio’s 103.5 KTU weekdays from 7 p.m. to midnight. In just the past few months, they’ve brought their listeners compelling interviews with several A-list acts.
“One of the best parts of our career is that we get to meet and work with the most talented people in the industry,” they tell us. “In the past few months, we’ve interviewed Charlie Puth, Selena Gomez, and Kesha in the studio. It’s amazing to have these opportunities to sit down with artists and talk about a mutual passion: music and entertainment.”
Of course, their coveted gig at one of America’s top radio networks wasn’t secured overnight. After trying their luck in the ultra-competitive world of beauty pageantry, Lulu and Lala landed their first broadcasting gig.

“When we were younger, we started off at Univision Radio on X96.3 with The Luis Jimenez Show in 2007,” they explain. “After staying there for a few years, we met Ty Bentli, and began co-hosting Ty Loves NY on 92.3 Now for CBS Radio. About three years later Miami’s New HITS 97.3 came to us and that is when we had our first shot at running our own show. We had done New York for so long, we wanted to try something new in Miami.”
“After a few years of our own radio show, we really missed our family and decided to come back to New York, which always had our heart. We ended up here at iHeartRadio.”
Out of the studio, the pair stays busy hosting a plethora of events. In addition to the 2020 Maxim Big Game Experience, they’ve brought their talents to Pepsi’s iHeart Fiesta 2019, Playboy’s Haunted Mansion Party 2019, and Pepsi Neon Beach 2020.
Lulu and Lala also honorably use their platform and brand to support a number of charities, including American Cancer Society, Autism Speaks, and NYC’s National Puerto Rican Day Parade. And they’ve got more big plans in the pipeline.
“We have a podcast in development as well as a top secret project in works – but that’s all we can say for now. So stay tuned, because we’ll be all over the map–literally–bringing sunshine vibes, good beats, and quirky anecdotes to you daily on the radio.”
