Megan Fox Has Some Seriously Deep Theories About The Universe

Mega babe Megan Fox is no stranger to attention-grabbing interviews and oddball quotes.

For example, the alluring actress once told a interviewer, “I could see myself in a relationship with a girl — Olivia Wilde is so sexy she makes me want to strangle a mountain ox with my bare hands.” But at least Olivia Wilde was totally flattered by Fox’s desire to smother a yak for her sake.

But in a recent interview with the L.A. Times, Fox set a new personal record for wonderfully wacky pronouncements, when she talked about her sixth sense, string theory, and her thoughts about the pyramids in Egypt.

“Sometimes I just know things,” she said, referring to when she told her mom she was going to become an actress as a 2-year-old. “I accidentally tap into stuff sometimes. I used to do it as a kid, and I do it as an adult. I crossed over and saw a future string.”

What she means by “string,” is string theory, which is all about quantum mechanics. And that’s getting into some seriously deep stuff.

But despite her revelation as a toddler that she was going to become an actress, Fox said, “I don’t think acting is my ultimate passion,” just a few days before the release of her new movie Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows. “I have other skill sets and gifts that are much, much stronger that I am obligated to exercise and use.” Like what, Megan? Tell us more.

This interview was kind of a head-scratcher.

“I’ve always been into alternative history, antiquities, archaeology. I’ve always been really consumed by these deep mysteries that exist on our planet that can’t be explained today by science. They eat away at me,” she explained, suggesting that deep down inside, she’s actually an archeological metaphysicist who just wants to spew ancient wisdom.

And this is all thanks to the tour of the Great Pyramid of Giza she visited in 2009 while filming Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, where she was told the pyramid wasn’t even a real tomb.

“The sarcophagus that is in the Great Pyramid was put there by the government for tourism,” she said, “and that sparked in me an interest in really exposing this sort of thing, because I realized I have access to things I shouldn’t have access to because of what I do for a living.”

Fox also says she feels misunderstood because of her undeniable beauty and global fame.

“You know how women that are always cast in James Bond movies are pinups but their job in the movies is always being a marine biologist or neuroscientist? I think people react to me that way. Like, ‘Right, she’s studying neurobiology.’ But I am really interested in that.”

She also wondered if her unconventional ideas would ever really be taken seriously. “I think people, in general, are plebeians that are brainwashed by the type of media that they expose themselves to. It doesn’t … matter what I say, or how eloquent a speaker I may be, or how positive my intentions may be. I’m going to be made into what people desire me to be.”

Count us among the plebians who will always care about what Megan Fox says. But however loopy her interviews may become, we still love her all the same.
