In hopes of bringing the Super Bowl to Miami in 2016 or 2017, the South Florida Super Bowl Bid Committee laid out its plans on Thursday.

According to NBC Miami, the plans include playing a football game on a U.S. Navy aircraft carrier near downtown Miami. And there would also be a “Super Bowl Park” in downtown Miami that would keep all Super Bowl-related activities in one area.
Ben Volin of the Palm Beach Post confirmed:
“Part of Miami’s Super Bowl bid will include an aircraft carrier next to AA Arena, and they will play a football game on it.”
Unfortunately, it’s not a sure thing that Miami lands Super Bowls 50 and 51. The Florida House didn’t pass a bill last week that would have helped pay for Sun Life Stadium renovations with taxpayer dollars, which should make it more difficult to compete with other cities.
