Just before she was crowned Miss America on Sunday night, Betty Cantrell from Warner Robins, Georgia was asked a question, the answer to which she had no way of knowing.
“Did Tom Brady cheat?”
But this was a beauty pageant, and in a beauty pageant, like in politics, it doesn’t matter if you know what you’re talking about, you just talk. So Miss Georgia did and her answer was a mishmash of word gumbo that began with the phrase “I’m not sure” and progressed to the phrase “he definitely cheated.” Here’s her response in its entirety:
