This NHL Player Pulled Out His Own Tooth Mid-Game

In case you thought guys who regularly take pucks to the face weren't tough enough.

Between skating, shooting, and checking, St. Louis Blues winger Ryan Reaves took the opportunity to perform a bit of oral surgery on himself, yanking out what appears to be a sizable incisor. Midway through a game against the Blackhawks, Reaves forgot to check over his left shoulder and was hit by Brent Seabrook, sending him face-first into a wall of plexiglass. In a testament to the heartiness of hockey players versus some other sporting professionals (we’re looking at you, soccer players), Reaves paused to remove his own tooth only after completing his 2-minute shift. The Blues won the game, and Reaves won our everlasting admiration.
