‘Ozark’ Season 4 Netflix Trailer Offers Dark Sneak Peek At Final Season

“Your greatest threat will always come from the inside.”

Netflix’s new Season 4 trailer for Ozark promises “no one gets out clean”—implying that the Byrde family won’t simply walk away from the criminal enterprise they’ve built during a very extended vacation in part one of the series’ final season.

Jason Bateman’s Marty and Laura Linney’s Wendy have positioned atop a drug cartel empire headed by Felix Solis’ Omar Navarro.

Meanwhile, their son Jonah (Skylar Gaertner) has already followed in his dad’s money-laundering footsteps at the ripe age of 14, as Metacritic notes.

“Do not be proud of him right now,” Wendy tells her gleaming husband.

However, Navarro also ominously warns Marty that “the greatest threat always comes from the inside,” hinting perhaps at an interfamilial betrayal.

The trailer concludes with a thrilling montage showing an FBI standoff, exploding car bombs, a point-blank shotgun blast, a stabbing, and plenty more action set within the gloomy, lake-filled community.

Ozark season 4 part 1 premieres on Netflix January 21.
