Playboy Settles Lawsuit With Model Injured During Disasterous Golf-Tee-In-Butt Stunt

A bad swing lead to a horrifying bruise.

Don’t ever let anyone tell you modeling isn’t a contact sport. Liz Dickson knows this better than most. Back in 2012, the model did some work with Playboy at a golf event. And this being a Playboy golf event, she was asked to grip a tee with her butt cheeks and let some bozo hit it a ball off of it.

Bad idea. Radio host Kevin Klein obliterated one of Dickson’s ass cheeks with a driver and Dickson went on to sue. That resulting 2014 lawsuit, in which Dickson asked for half a million dollars in restitution, was settled last week, the Associated Press reports.

In the suit, Dickson claimed that she thought they were just posing for a picture and that she never knew Klein was going to hit the ball. As a result of the unexpected swing, the suit claimed that Dickson “sustained severe bodily injuries” and “in the future, will have pain, suffering, worry and anxiety.” That story, however, is called into question by this audio recorded during the incident, which makes it pretty clear that Dickson knew he was going to hit the ball. Either way, that bruise is pretty horrifying.

The terms of the settlement have not been disclosed, but let’s just assume it was for enough money that Dickson’s ass will forever be safe from the maniacal radio hosts wielding three foot rods of titanium.
