Playlist of the Week: Chromeo

This Canadian duo is bringing the electro-funk.

Governor’s Ball brought a lot of amazing acts to New York City earlier this month, including funk lords Chromeo. The Canadian duo, comprised of Dave 1 (David Macklovitch) and P-Thugg (Patrick Gemayel), have become known and loved for their catchy ’80s revivalist electro-funk sound. Pumping out danceable tracks ever since their 2004 breakout single, “Needy Girl”, the pair has most recently released their fourth studio album, White Women. Have a listen below:
