Prince Just Released a New Album — and It’s Only Streaming on Tidal
You have that, right?
Tidal is making it very hard to not subscribe to Tidal. The streaming service (owned by Jay-Z) announced on Labor Day that they’ll be exclusively hosting HIT N RUN Phase One, the latest album from the actual prince of purple suits and high-kicks, Prince.
The tracklist for the album doesn’t include the majority of the songs he’s been releasing over the past few months leading up to its unveiling (Prince apparently did that just to keep us guessing), and to further highlight what a notoriously prolific artist he is, he’s offering up a new song or rarity, starting today, as Tidal’s “Purple Pick of the Week.”
The first pick is “Stare” which you can listen to now until it gets pulled from Soundcloud, as most of his tracks tend to be:

This is Prince’s 35th studio album, and his third in the last two years. Wouldn’t it be nice if he could find a way to exclusively stream whatever sort of health routine he practices in order to consistently have that sort of energy? I mean, when’s the last time you’ve spun around and done a high kick? It’s harder than it looks.
