Neil Young, Charli XCX, Miley Cyrus, Diplo Launch Quarantine Livestreams

It’s the only way to see live concerts these days…

Charli XCX

Musicians are cooped up just like everyone else, so thankfully some notable names have decided to livestream free shows during the Coronavirus lockdown. Here’s a handful of well-known artists streaming shows rounded up by Consequence of Sound:

Neil Young ‘Fireside Sessions’

When: TBA

Where: Neil Young Archives

The legendary rocker will be performing semi-regular “Fireside Sessions” from his home in Telluride, Colorado. “Because we are all at home and not venturing out, we will try to do a stream from my fireplace with my lovely wife [Daryl Hannah] filming. It will be a down-home production, a few songs, a little time together,” Young explained.

The initial episode featured a stellar six-song acoustic set with performances of “Sugar Mountain”, “Vampire Blues”, “Razor Love”, and “Tell Me Why”, fresh off Young’s recent performance of “Heart of Gold” at a Bernie Sanders rally. It may be hard to top Young’s debut quarantine mini-concert, but C.O.S. has a few more to watch out for:
