A Bunch of Rock Legends Will Join Forces for An ‘Oldchella’ Mega Concert

It's the ultimate "Dad Rock" blowout--and it's probably going to be awesome.

Paul McCartney, Bob Dylan, Roger Waters, the Rolling Stones, Neil Young and the Who will share a bill for the first time ever this October as the brains behind Coachella put on a rock festival for the ages. And for the ageless.

Five of the headlining legends shared Facebook videos on Sunday (perhaps the coolest one, Neil Young, did not) teasing something in October. It’s pretty obvious that the something is this mega-festival, dubbed Oldchella for obvious reasons—the acts are super old, it’ll be held in Indio, California, the same location as Coachella, and Coachella organizers Goldenvoice are the the brains behind it.

There have been reports about which stars will play on which nights—Dylan and the Stones on opening night, Young and McCartney on night two, the Who and Waters closing things out—but otherwise, details are scant. One to keep your eye on is the ticket price. Combine astronomical festival prices with the typical cost of seeing these rock gods and your dad might dip into your inheritance to buy tickets.
